9. Partner Firms (Accountants & Advisors)
Partner This section applies only to Irish accounting firms, business advisors, and other professional firms ("Partner Firms") that subscribe to a GrantMatch Partner Plan (Founding, Starter, Pro, or Firm tier) for the purpose of delivering co-branded grant eligibility reports to their own clients.
9.1 Subscription & report allowances. Partner Plans are billed monthly via Stripe Checkout. Each tier carries an annual report allowance (Starter: 10 reports/year; Founding and Pro: 30 reports/year; Firm: unlimited fair use). Allowances reset on the anniversary of the subscription start date. Unused allowance does not carry over. Founding tier members are guaranteed €99/month for the first six months from signup, after which the subscription rolls to the Pro tier rate (€299/month) unless cancelled.
9.2 Cancellation. Partner Firms may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial months. Reports already delivered remain the property of the Partner Firm and their underlying client.
9.3 Co-branding. Where a Partner Firm supplies a logo and firm name, GrantMatch will apply both to the cover and footer of each report delivered under that subscription. The Partner Firm warrants that it owns or has the right to use the logo and name supplied. GrantMatch reserves the right to decline to display any branding it reasonably considers misleading, defamatory, or in breach of third-party rights.
9.4 Client relationship. The end client whose business is profiled in a co-branded report remains the client of the Partner Firm. GrantMatch has no contractual relationship with that end client. The Partner Firm is responsible for delivering the report to its client, for explaining the report's findings, and for any onward grant application work.
9.5 Data Processing Terms
Where a Partner Firm submits client data to GrantMatch for the purpose of generating a co-branded report, the parties agree the following Data Processing Terms, which form part of these Terms & Conditions and satisfy the written-contract requirement of Article 28(3) GDPR:
- Roles. The Partner Firm acts as data controller. GrantMatch acts as data processor and processes client personal data only on the documented instructions of the Partner Firm (i.e. the questionnaire submission).
- Subject matter & duration. Processing covers the data submitted via the GrantMatch eligibility questionnaire and persists for as long as the subscription is active and for the retention period described below.
- Nature & purpose. Generating, storing, and delivering a grant eligibility report. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR is carried out.
- Categories of data. Business contact details, business profile (sector, county, headcount, turnover, project details), and limited identifying information for the named contact person. No special-category data is processed under Partner Plans.
- Confidentiality. GrantMatch ensures that all personnel authorised to process the data are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.
- Security. GrantMatch maintains appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, audit logs) commensurate with the risk under Article 32 GDPR.
- Sub-processors. GrantMatch uses the following sub-processors as of the effective date: Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (payments), Resend.com (transactional email delivery), Vercel Inc. (web hosting), and Supabase Inc. (database hosting). The Partner Firm hereby provides general written authorisation under Article 28(2) GDPR for these and any future sub-processors. GrantMatch will publish any changes to this list at grantmatch.ie/privacy and Partner Firms may object in writing within 14 days.
- International transfers. Where any sub-processor stores data outside the EEA, transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent Article 46 safeguard.
- Data subject rights. GrantMatch will assist the Partner Firm in responding to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability requests from data subjects, taking into account the nature of the processing.
- Breach notification. GrantMatch will notify the Partner Firm of any personal data breach affecting client data without undue delay and in any event within 48 hours of becoming aware.
- Retention. Client questionnaire responses and generated reports are retained for 24 months from delivery, after which they are securely deleted. The Partner Firm or end client may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing hello@grantmatch.ie; deletion will be completed within 30 days.
- Audit. GrantMatch will, on reasonable notice, make available to the Partner Firm all information necessary to demonstrate compliance with these Data Processing Terms.
- End of processing. On termination of the Partner Plan, GrantMatch will, at the Partner Firm's choice, return or delete all client personal data then held, save where retention is required by Irish law.
The Partner Firm acknowledges that, by completing Stripe Checkout for a Partner Plan, it accepts these Terms & Conditions including the Data Processing Terms in this Section 9. No separate Data Processing Agreement is required.
